The NGO Tribunal became a partner of the Surma War Music Festival.
Music hardens hearts and heals souls. We were once again convinced of the truth of this aphorism during the large-scale invasion. The network exploded with a rendition of "Oh, there's a red viburnum in the meadow". The OUN slogan "We were born in a great hour" has become a symbol of the invincibility of our brave military in the twenty-first century.
It is now, in a modern arrangement, that the songs with which the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen and the fighters of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army went into battle to fight for independence have once again gained popularity. And now soldiers and artists are creating a new page in the musical history of Ukraine.
The first festival of war music Surma was held under the slogan "Let it be singing, let it not be crying" and brought together famous performers who create and fight for our freedom. The participants performed pieces written during the wars: rifle songs of the 1917-1921 Liberation Movement; the song heritage of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army; and musical pieces dedicated to the events of the current Russian-Ukrainian war. The art event took place under the renovated monument "Motherland" with the Tryzub on the shield.
